Notes to the above:

1)  35S: the 35S PCR system detects transgenic DNA sequences that are characteristic for the 35S promoter of the Cauliflower Mosaic Virus (CaMV). This target sequence is commonly engineered in genetically modified plants. The limit of detection of genetically modified DNA is 0.01% or 20 copies.

2)  RRS: The RRS PCR system detects transgenic DNA sequences that are characteristic for the EPSPS gene in soybean line GTS 40-3-2. The limit of detection of genetically modified DNA is 0.01% or 20 copies. RRS = Round-up Ready Soy

3) In some instances above the thresh-hold is not specified. This is because it costs double to have a result quantified and we did not have the budget.
